What ages does Clayman Speech & Language Services serve?
Services are provided for children ages 3-21.
Do you accept insurance?
Clayman Speech & Language Services is an out-of-network provider in Maryland and Delaware. Speech services are frequently covered by out-of-network benefits per each persons insurance contract. The clinic will provide each person with a superbill (monthly) and weekly invoice (via IvyPay). The superbills will include all diagnostic information, treatment codes, and payments towards insurance reimbursement.
How long is each speech session?
Sessions vary from 30-55 minutes (clinical hour) based on the child’s age, needs, and persistence. Sessions are interactive and often include hands-on activities to keep the child motivated and learning without even knowing it!
How are payments made?
Payments will be made via credit card charge through IvyPay. Sessions are charged immediately following the service to the card on file.
Do you do screenings?
Currently, we do not provide screenings for local daycares or schools. However, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation about your child to discuss your concerns and next steps.
How often does my child need therapy/evaluations?
We highly recommend evaluations every 3 years due to a child’s development and monitoring progress. Therapy frequency is determined based on the client’s needs, rate of progress, and family abilities.
